Shipping Policies

US Shipment Information

I have a $300 minimum to ship via the airlines. St Louis, MO or Indianapolis, IN is 2 hours each way and it takes at least 1/2 hour or more to check the rabbits in for the flight. Shipping cost can run between $180- 300 and up. Shipping cost will depend on airline, destination, size of the carrier and total shipping weight including rabbits.

Weather plays a part in whether rabbits can be shipped. Normally the best time to ship are in the spring and fall.

You are responsible for paying for a health certificate for each rabbit. My veterinarian charges $90.00 per visit.

You are responsible for getting a flight approved carrier or you can purchase one from me. It cost more to ship the carrier to me in some cases it is better to have me purchase one for you. Each rabbit needs 2 cups for food and water. They cost $2.50 each.

Carrier, cups, health cert. and rabbits must be paid for in full before they are shipped. Money order or cashiers check only.

International Shipment Information

I have a $1,000 minimum to ship via the airlines. The Chicago, IL International Airport- 3 plus hours each way and it takes at least 1/2 hour or more to check the rabbits in for the flight. Shipping cost can run between $700-800 and up (cost determine by final port of entry and fuel charges). Shipping cost will depend on airline, destination, size of the carrier, most are airline require carrier to be placed in a dog kennel ($120) and total shipping weight including rabbits.

You are responsible for paying for a health certificate for each rabbit. My veterinarian charges $90.00 per visit. USDA Stamp and approval $36 plus $60 to overnight the certificate to and from the USDA.
